    Greetings all.

As I am rather unfamiliar with Sager/Clevo I have a few questions I was hoping you could answer before I place my order.

First, this is the sytem I have configured:

    -------------------------------------------
    - Display: 17" Wide Viewing Angles WUXGA LCD with Super Glossy Surface (1920 x 1200)[+$195.00]
    - Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Processor Q6600 / 8MB L2 Cache, 2.40GHz, 1066MHz FSB[+$105.00]
    - Video & Graphics Card: Dual Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT MXM IV Graphics with 512MB DDR3 Video Memory in SLI mode[+$395.00]
    - Operating System: Genuine MS Windows® VISTA Home Premium 32/64-Bit Edition
    - Memory: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz - 2 X 1024MB
    - RAID Storage Options: Non-RAID Storage
    - Primary Hard Disk Drive: 100GB 7200rpm SATA 150 Hard Drive[+$65.00]
    - Optical Drive: 8X DVD±R/RW/4X +DL Super-Multi Drive & Software
    - Wireless Network Card: Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN - 802.11A/B/G/N Wireless LAN Module
    - Bluetooth: Internal Bluetooth Module
    - Primary Battery: Smart Li-ION Battery Pack
    - Warranty: Sager Two Year Limited Warranty[+$199.00]
    - Carrying Bag: Standard Carrying Bag

    --------------------------------------------

Now, in my entire life I have only owned 2 notebooks, both from Dell.
As my latest notebook is reaching the end of it's life (or can longer fulfil its role as a high-end gaming machine) I thought it was time to replace it.

I figured I would be far more happy with NP9261 rather than the Dell XPS M1730, mainly because of the quad core option in NP9261 and the design being more plain & simple.

My questions are, how is the quality (quality being level of brightness, sharpness etc) of the LCD screens in the Sager notebooks compared to Dell, particularly the 17" glossy screens?. Secondly, how robust is the notebook?
From the pictures, it seems to be more fragile than the Dell XPS system.

I look forward to reading your comments.

    Thank you.

The WUXGA screen is bright and vivid in color. Maybe some owners can chime in and comment on their opinion of the screen.

The 9261 is a good sized notebook. You can take a look at a review of the 9260 here. Are you asking if the machine is robust in size or rugged in build quality?
