Firstly, the button underneath the batter button on the left, what does it do? I have installed the drivers for everything it'll let me, but I have no idea.

I can't get the drivers for the fingerprint reader of the camera to work or install, or at least can't tell if I can. Anyone have these problems?

Any way to remap the mail key?

And lastly, I ordered an express card remote, cooling pad is on the way, aside from a sleeve and a trackball/mouse, any ideas of necessary/useful peripherals to purchase?

What cooling pad did you order ? I was thinking of getting one though my NP 2090 doesn't run extremely hot 50 - 60 C. Sorry I can't help you with the buttons since I have not even used many other than the web and mail buttons. What do you want to reroute the mail button too ?

The two buttons on the left are for Smart Battery and Power USD, the latter enables USB power (external devices, charging iPod) when your laptop is powered off.
What OS are you on? All drivers and utilities are in compal.com site, under IFL90. Check if all of them are installed (w/o question mark) in device manager.
    Good Luck.
