Am I suppose to use drivers that are only on Sagers website for the 580M, or can I upgrade to newer drivers from nvidia's website. What is the best way to go?

OK good because I checked sagers site and the latest one they have is from July of 2011 and Nvidia just released a new driver about a week ago..

Just go over GeForce.com and download the most recent driver.Youre not tied to sager for gpu drivers.

The latest nVidia drivers for your card should work just fine. We have not found any issues running the latest nVidia drivers for the 580M, much less a 560M.

there have been rare cases, mainly with older laptops and not specifically Sager/Clevo, where it is not recommended to use anything other than the drivers for your laptop supplied by the manufacturer.
