I have a M570ETU, and I'm wondering if the bluetooth chip in it supports A2DP? I'm considering buying a Bluetooth headset...
-
You should be asking the question does the driver you are using support A2DP.
All bluetooth chips support A2DP. -
My M570RU-U sends A2DP to my Moto S9-HD headphones. Sounds as good as bluetooth can...
-
I'm only familiar with BlueSoleil, as that's what Sager uses for the driver in my D901C's bluetooth module. It works well with A2DP. No major complaints.

Hm, tried installing BlueSoleil...God what a nightmare! Are there any other a bit more user-friendly drivers that support A2DP?
Also, I assume A2DP work in the way that you get all audio in to the headphones? (Windows effect sounds, game sounds, music, movies and so on?) -
I used the standard bluetooth drivers that come with Windows. Then I play something with stereo sound effects like L4D...

Is there really no other option than Blue Soleil for A2DP?
I really don't want to run this program.
It has 4 processes running constantly in the background. It costs 19€ to purchase. It is the least user friendly program I've ever tried in my whole life. There's no way I can live with this.
Please, is there no other option? I beg you, I can't use this bloated piece of crap. -
Have you tried using "Classic View" with BlueSoleil? That's a little friendlier in my opinion.
You could try "Widcomm" drivers. I'm not sure if that will work. -
Since goin' from Vista to 7 I hadn't tried the BT PAN with my cellphone for internet sharing until recently and found out it didn't work anymore. I uninstalled BS, haha bs, and let windows update the built-in BT drivers and support soft, used them, and they work great for everything.

Maybe I need to upgrade to Windows 7...
-
Windows 7 x64 is the s***, particularly when combined with an SSD.
Back on topic: I haven't had any issues with BlueSoleil, but maybe I'm just lucky? -
BlueSoliel runs 4 processes in the background 50,000kb when just idling.
The install file is 100MB.
Seriously, all that JUST to transfer something via Bluetooth?
I call BLOAT
A2DP headsets
