I will most likely buy it on 26th. Waiting for Candian Xmas sales prior making the final decision.

I am trying to order from Malibal since they seem to have no negative feedback whereas XoticPC has few. Shipping is excessive but after looking at Canadian Clevo resellers, the overall price still seem to be cheaper.

On the ordering page, Malibal lists two AC adapters, one's 120w. The other is 180w.
560m is about 75w, I believe, at full load. The CPU is about 40w-ish (quad core). All other stuff included, it seems I should get 180w instead of 120w.

What's your opinion on this? There is 45 USD difference between the two.

Any Malibal rep I can PM to here?

Well I wouldn't say 0 complaints... My new laptop has a dead HDD in it and I was hoping they would have up to date and/or working drivers when it arrived. Not to bash them in any way since it's hectic Christmas time, but I expected a lot more from my $2100 than what I got....

To answer your question, I suggest higher power supply.

DoA HDD doesn't concern me and I don't consider that a major complaint. Personally, if they can ship the unit without HDDs, that'd be perfectly fine with me as long as they test the unit before shipping out. I have a buttload of extra SSD and HDDs lying around.

    Anyhow, thanks for the advice.

The 120W AC Adapter is all you need for the 560m and the i7

The 120W is all you need with the 560M in the Lotus P151HM1. We offer the 180W in case someone plans to upgrade past the 560M in the future. :)

Heh, they are all old and the first generation SSDs. (Ranging from 30gb to 60gb ones)

My recent SSD purchases that I am using right now are all Intel though. May not the fastest but the most stable.
Seriously though, if I can save money by not having them install HDD/SSD, I'd gladly choose that option.

    You've got a PM

I believe you can, as I am looking to do this in the near future as well. They'll give you a custom quote. But I'm not 100% sure so you may as well find out from the source!
