Umm... I didn't see any release dates? Only the date (month) of the preview I just watched.

They are just saying that windows 8 has a prohibition to work with fixed-mode switching, so the new enduro includes a kind of "bypass" to allow this feature anyway.
    Thats all.

Well it seems windows 8 is all about prohibition...

M$ also removed start menu, and they said they will do everything to block apps that add a start menu (they claim almost no one used start menu so they removed it?).

What The Heck is wrong with M$, SCREW U WIND8...

I was like, I hope they fix the start menu and make it like windows XP where we can open things to the sides, but nooooo, they just removed it (less work probably).
    Keep Cool

I use my start menu for at least one thing every day. Why block the addition of a start menu?

Much as I would like to see some progress in operating systems, I really could not help but laugh and cry when I saw THIS Sorry for derailing the thread.

As far as Enduro 5.5, there are a few articles about it, but AMD is basically stating "it will be done when it is done" so we can't say for sure when that will be.

Heihachi_1337 is correct. At this time AMD has not released any information pertaining to a date when new drivers will be available.
