Hey AM2 has been out for a little while. Has anyone heard if Clevo will be releasing a 9750 with the AM2 mobo ?

    Just curious...

no info as of yet, but if any notebook engineers that would be able to pull it off, it'll be Clevo's.

    here's hoping... LOL

its the new AMD socket type for new AMD CPUs, which still includes the Athlon X2's, as well as the new FX-62.

FYI: our Sager 9750 (Clevo D900K) have Socket 939.

Oh that's cool. Thanks. I don't really know what socket 939 means, but a little research should take care of that.

yeah. the socket 939 fx60 is still too expensive, considering how much the AM2 x2 5000 is now going for.

yeah, keep us updated if you hear anything gophn..

actually it also changes the mem spec from DDR to DDR2 as well. minor boost in performance as a result based on what i have seen.
