So i got a sager np8150 w/amd 6990m i7 2760qm a few weeks back. Everything works great so far however i expected this gpu/cpu combo to be enough to run 25man raids. However when ever i do any 25man raids my fps goes to 10 and below which is way lower than i expected. Is this normal or is there something wrong? 10man raids aren't a problem and everything else is pretty fluent it's just 25man raids that make my fps drop down to unplayable levels. Would OC'ing the gpu make my fps get high enough so i can play?If so how would i do that?
I tried lowering my settings but that didn't really help my fps increase that much.

Could be caused by stress the CPU too much. If you have shadow detailed turn up try turning it all the way down to see if it helps. That made a huge difference for me.

Your gpu and cpu stats should run max wow like butter but Amd is no good for world of warcraft because of nvidia, they optimized for nvidia and did the opposite for amd because of nvidia. Too bad

Optimization plays a big role, so I believe greenAlien has a point. OC'ing might help, but you may want to check your temps when you notice the FPS drop in the larger party raids just to be sure you're within safe ranges before you think about overclocking.

Your specs should run WoW just fine. It might be an issue with configurable/switchable graphics.

Disable vsync and move shadows to low. Leave everything else on hgh. There have been numerous reports that vsync in wow kills fps on ati/amd cards and i can confirm that.

Ive upgraded my old desktop from gtx 460 to 7870 and during various mop raids my fps was barely above 20 while old and slower nvidia had no problems running it at 60. While scouring wow support forum i determined that vsync coused big fps hit.

    i suck at tapatalk typin...
