Which driver to download for CF users with NO switchable graphics? Tnx
-
What does this gaming evolved app do for us? Trying to read on the website but it doesnt really explain much other then their "commitment to pc gamers"???
-
For the first time I find myself disappointed with one of your drivers.
In order for my computer to boot without a bluescreen I have to boot on battery, then I can plug in. Kind of weird. About to test gaming now.... -

So what exactly does this fix do? What does that monitor GPU thing mean?
Im using your 13.11 driver and its running everything great, any reason to use this one instead? -
-
LeekM's drivers have some optimizations for those with switchable graphics!
If you dont have a laptop in need - then just run the stock drivers from AMD!
Anyone else have the BSOD like I did unless you boot on battery? I did my normal full uninstall/re install process - so I know its not that. Just curious! -
With the settings window, the fps does drop a bit, but that's just menu for most games. Oh wells, at least I finally got the fps it is suppose to be at.

Edit: Here my 3dm11 result with the original AMD 13.11B9.2 drivers: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7455678
If you compare my result with Phlawless's ( http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7426908) or LeeKM's ( http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7449389) result, everybody can see that the graphics scores are nearly the same. -
@LeekMe Could you explain how do you achieve to get the ati drivers compatible with switchable graphics ? I'm planning to make a tutorial on your awesome job but I want to know what I am talking about.

Hi,
Im new here.
I bought a Clevo P150EM with a 7970M.
Which driver should i use, iam a bit confused.
Thx -
Then AMD graphics driver is installed. (intel users) -
Hi LeeKM, thanks a lot for the updated driver!
I'm using your beta 9.2 right now and it works great, but for some reason I can't see the new option like in your screenshot:
Any ideas on how to make it appear?
I'm using it on 6630M + Intel HD 3000. I remember seeing this option before, but now I just can't get it to show up, even after a clean reinstall. -
I understand your post, but the first page ...
Dont understand the meaning of "intel user", "amd user" ? The cpu is an intel cpu, the 7670m is a amd.
Or are the differnt donwload files for amd cpus and intel cpu ?

Hello,
I can't get it to work. I have a samsung NP 370 R 5 E-S 02 FR with an HD8750.
If I only install the AMD driver it says that windows prevented the card from working because it has an error. If Install both i loose the ability to change luminosity and both cards don't work. -

However, I still don't see a benefit for people (like me) with igpu + dgpu.
@LeeKM
What do you think about one topic, which is only about your "fixes"? It would have a more serious flavor instead of flooding the forum with your driver "fixes" and driver "mod" threads. You could update it everytime you "fix" a new driver. -
LeeKM's fixed drivers are one of the greatest mysteries on this site. No one knows what they do, Everyone has mixed opinions on how effective they are, and its all a mystery on how AMD are oblivious to how all their drivers can be fixed with little tweaks that they cannot seem to figure out on their own....

Integrated graphics, there is the problem a lot of recognition.
Modded allows the driver to recognize the discrete graphics.(Official mobility driver does not include AMD Evolved App.)

The user Undying claimed that this fix helps users with APU (AMD CPU + AMD GPU) system for enabling the switchable graphics menu. Can someone else confirm that? -
Dito. The problem is that I can't take him serious, because of his generic irrelevant benchmark and game pic posts when you ask him what exactly the benefit of this fix are (disregarding wrong registry entries for some graphics cards).Click to expand...
However, the main reason I'm using LeeKM's driver is because official drivers don't install properly on my configuration. For example, the "Switchable Graphics Global Settings" and "Switchable Graphics Application Settings" tabs are missing from Catalyst Control Center. I have no idea why they're not there, but if I install LeeKM's driver the same exact way - it just works.
As for him being ambiguous about details and posting irrelevant responses, I think it has to do with the language barrier more than anything else. -
I have problems with the AMD Gaming Evolved app, it crashes every game I launch.
If I close the app, all game launches fine.
What?
I know the app isn't necessary but I think it's fine.
Peace. -

However, all that said, it is still hard to deny that it is all very confusing. You say you use his drivers because the regular ones do not show certain tabs. Try to install the regular drivers with the method you install LeekM's drivers. Might help. But it still doesn't change the fact that we have no idea what exactly he is changing from the regular drivers. -

I don't know about enduro under-utilization and does this fix help at all but as an APU user i really have to thank him for doing this for us.
I'm even using 13.11 V9.2 for my ancient Asus K53ta and it works (official ofc not working). Missing switchable graphics menu and brigntness issue is a problem from 13.4whql on official drivers. Anyone can confirm this becouse problem is not fixed by AMD and support for dual-graphics is crap.
