I used clean install method. Thanks to the modern SSDs, several reboots are not a big pain in the anymore :)

    - Uninstall with catalysts own uninstallation utility > reboot.
    - Driver sweeper, AMD, analyse, clean > reboot.
    - Uninstall Intel HD driver with device manager > reboot.
    - Install https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=hd4000 > reboot.
    - Install new catalyst > reboot twise to be sure.

3dMark11 score went a little down with this driver. (But who cares!)

Edit: By the way.. I use Win8 64 Pro

Utilization 99% permanently - but it is a fake , no fps boost , same temps. AMD finally solved the Enduro problem, now you got always 99% (even if 60% in reality) but you just can`t see it :D

Are you sure about it ? Did you use HWInfo to read GPU utilization ? There is a problem with HWInfo is that it stops reading GPU temp/utilization each time you turn on/off the GPU (by launching the 3D program for example), so it always shows the last value before the GPU was turned off. You have to restart HWInfo to fix the problem.

It's the same with afterburner and it's not because gpu goes on/off. This "feature" is also in the 13.150 beta and windows 8.1 pre driver.. I hate it, but I want the latest drivers/optimisations :p

My temps are higher and the fans stay on high much more often with this driver. Also reporting constant 99% utilization. All of that would seem to jive with the exception of seeing absolutely no increase in FPS. I went back to 13.6 Beta2 which works really well on my laptop.

It would be good to know if the games affected by enduro (say, minecraft) are still suffering from the issue. I don't expect a huge FPS increase in games already working OK. Regarding the reported utilization, perhaps they made some changes on the overdrive API and now it must be read using a different function call (and the deprecated method returns 99% by default, I don't know). That, or it is completely borked (most likely).

i just use update method to install the driver, did not uninstall anything. so far no problem. all drivers have problems anyway. i just want the latest and newer driver date on device manager.

    Thanks.

Even though I usually work with OpenGL as my preferred renderer, I'll be skipping this one...

Can anyone comment on whether or not Minecraft frame rates are affected by this release?
