AMD Catalyst? Revision 13.12 Enduro Fix (Catalyst 13.8 Based)

Here is an update to the new version.

:Windows 8 Users: You will need to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement between installing the Enduro fix Driver.

Is this older driver version than your previous modded driver? I just checked these version numbers and my installed older ones.

I installed the AMD Catalyst™ Revision 13.12 Enduro Fix (Catalyst 13.8 Based) on a clean install windows 8 pro 64bit and it is not working as 13.6 modded drivers (99% utilization in HON)

Installed Windows 8 (clean install)
Installed Intel igpu drivers
restart
Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
restart
Installed AMD Catalyst™ Revision 13.12 Enduro Fix (Catalyst 13.8 Based)

and utilization is low for dx9 (heroes of newerth) .
Also msi afterburner clocks are stuck at 0 and i cannot overclock (unofficial overclock = 1)

Do i need to install stock amd drivers before this?

 

Please check the power settings.
Low-power mode is activated, dGPU is not recognized. ( Try running the AMD monitoring software before running the afterburner. )

 

windows power settings is High performance.

Its utilization is around 30%~35%. clocks is normal 300mhz(idle) 850mhz(game)
Do i need to install hotkey application? (p150em sparq)

AMD switchable graphics settings for hon.exe is also high performance

 

Is there a problem other dx9 games? Some online games may appear low utilization.

 

I do not have other dx9 games, but your modded 13.6 drivers gave me 99% utilization in Heroes of Newerth

I just updated to 13.8 and it stopped working and I did a reformat with clean windows 8. It is still not working.

 

I got a 6800 on that FF14 benchmark on 1080p maximum...so maybe I should just stay on what I have.

 

At the moment it might be best to let the dust settle, though I would only install modified drivers if you are having a specific issue.

 

Oh, that's the old version of the FF14 benchmark, Leek. There's a new one that's SIGNIFICANTLY more refined for ATI cards, came out recently. I got 5200-5400 on the old, 6800~ on the new.

It runs the same scene but with updated optimization.

 

What about the frame? (When compared with high utilization.)

Quick question. Will this driver always maintain a 99% Gpu utilization even in cut scenes? or areas which require very little utilization? Like beginning logo or menu screen?

In the following order
1. Uninstall AMD beta drivers
2. Reboot
3. Ran cmd, c:\>bcdedit /set testsigning on
4. Reboot
5. Install your Enduro fix
6. Reboot

13.6 modded is 60+ all the time

now none of the modded ones work, i reinstalled windows again still low utli with any 13.6 or 13.8

Please test on a different computer. (7970m graphics similar to the single output)
The problem may be that game.

I doubt you damaged your card just by changing drivers. I just switched from 13.8 modded drivers by LeeKM (not the one form this thread, but from the other thread) back to the official amd 13.8 beta and here's what I got:



The GPU behaves just like it did before I tried the modded drivers.

 

I doubt i damaged my card too but i have formatted clean installed windows multiple times and am unable to get 99% utilization with any drivers



Originally, I moved from 13.6 modded to 13.8 original (still showed 99% util on amd drivers)
then i used the machater tool and the util became 30% and performance dropped.
also lost overclock sliders in MSI afterburner

after that i could never get 99% regardless which driver i installed even after reformat

 

I've never OC'd so I can't say anything about that. I'm now back on the modded drivers found in this thread and I can still get 99%. Your case is a weird one especially because you've done a reformat.

 

Can you tell me your intel gpu driver version?

I have ran driver fusion everytime when i install a new one (when i didnt want to reformat yet) still cannot get it working

it always performs as regular drivers ever since

 

I have the latest. I have never used any software to do clean uninstallation of drivers. In fact, I've never reformatted this laptop since I bought it. I hope you find the solution to your problem.

 

This driver works very well. 3dmark11 score raised above 6700p without any OC and games run smoother.

But, do you have any idea why always when i install new amd driver it set core clock and memory clock to minimum (core 425mhz and memory 600mhz)? It started after i installed OpenGL 4.3beta and continues with this driver. I can force clocks to max with afterburner but this is not normal..

 

I think i have solved my performance problem, althought utilization is <50%, performance as as good as 99% util 13.6 modded driver.

installed 13.101 enduro fix (good performance as before, but util does not show as 99%)
installed 13.12 enduro fix directly over 13.101 enduro fix as msi uninstall manager gets stuck when populating software

now i have the same performance as it used to be although % is low

 

please post your in-game benchmarks and temps if you can guys!
