    I might have jumped, but the undervolting is working too well on this driver version to switch over to the new one...

    I'll wait this one out to see how it performs..

    RAGE is nearly fixed, but still has some problems with the NPCs.

    I approve of the redesign.

    The rest of the stuff is not tested, but sadly this Catalyst release messes with some of my games including Minecraft. D;
    Back to 11.9 WHQL and bye bye RAGE for me.

    Hi
    So I just received my computer. I noticed my idle temps on my 6990m card was way off. Idling at about 54-57 C. The factory applied thermal paste and thermal pads for me.

    I popped the back open to see if anything was wrong. I snapped a photo of how it looked.

    I have two questions:
    1: You can see where i made a red circle, is it supposed to look like that? Looks like a piece of the metal is missing.

    2: I am a beginner at this, but to me the pads looks way off, I'm guessing they aren't supposed to stick out like that. Should I apply new pads?

    Edit: crap posted this in the wrong thread, had the 6990m thread up in another tab.
