At least they've released something at this point, the new beta drivers actually show a lot of promise for Enduro and performance fixes. Better than nothing.

Do AMD have spesific predefined CAP's for SWTOR or Crysis 2 ? I do not find them in Catalyst, but i get a message that " An AMD predefined application profile already exists for the the selected pplication. Do you wnt to override the predefined profile ?" It should have added at the end: " without a catalyst crash ?"
It is irritating that those predefined ap's don't show up...

By the way, this HPET setting is not available in bios to us with p150em so......

While it seems your pain is legendary (not actually owning a 7970M, it must be hard to be you) the 12.11 beta does A LOT to fix the problems we've been dealing with the last 6 months or so.

I don't like that it took so long, but by following the correct and non-lazy driver install method provided about every 3 pages in these threads, you can experience what it's like to run BF3 MP at 40+ FPS, or Batman AC at 50+ FPS.

Having spent the money for the beast it was supposed to be, I am happy that I am finally getting some of my moneys worth. And they're not done. It's a beta, which means we have an official release to go which will hopefully take care of the BSOD problems.

As for myself? I only BSOD one time every time I install something new. After that one time, I boot up and everything runs just fine.

I AM NOT AN AMD FANBOI. I am a money fanboi. I saved 300 dollars not buying the other high end option, and it's finally starting to pay off. Thank you all at NBR for experimenting with installs and fixes. This is why this community get's results.

    Peace.

I can appreciate people are stressed, and it's not a great state of affairs, but this is a beta, they are constantly working on it.

I suggest people keep sending in bug reports, keep them informed and try and get this sorted. If we can open up a healthy dialog with AMD we should be able to help prevent this in future.

It's always best to install switchable graphics drivers over the original set.
