    As you can see guys the hd7870 takes 20% up perfomance for bf3,which means and the hd7970m will take the same...... :p:thumbsup: :cool:
    thats cool,and i hope that they will put on ccc the performance-overdrive option....

    easy:

    - install msi afterburner, make a shortcut with the command "-xcl"
    - double-click on that shortcut
    - restart ur machine
    - check the new option "performance" in CCC and enable AMD overdrive
    - happy under/overclocking! :)

    I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by "make a shortcut with the command "-xcl" ..." I usually just right-click an icon, then select create shortcut or send to desktop.

    Are you referring to the "cmd = command"?

    When I first installed 12.11 b4, 12.10 chipset drivers and 12.10 cap1 I was about to turn on amd overdrive in the CCC but now its not letting me anymore. I'm going to use driver sweeper to start fresh and try reinstalling everything, even MSI AB 2.2.4.

    haha no, i meant to say: create a shortcut which includes the command "-xcl" in the target section (right click - properties)

    Hummm, I can't get overdrive to appear when adding the -xlc switch to after burner and then restarting the computer...

    ive seen in other threads that this apparently just works for HM users, but not on EM machines. sorry buddy.... :(

    Jaybee83 it seems there are limited reviews on the 7970m in HM laptops. How do 12.11 values on the EM series laptops compare to your numbers?
