Has any of these updates fixed the hdmi out issue?
-
HDMI is handled by Intel, not the gpu on notebooks.

This has the DX9 fix:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...0-0-november-6-enduro-performance-driver.html
It is technically a 12.11 release but targeted just for the 7970M and is definitely the best current release for 7970M owners. -
oh no
now what is better for Far Cry 3 for us - 12.11 Beta 8 or AMD Catalyst™ 7970M Enduro™ Performance driver ?
-
AMD is adding improvements and bug fixes so fast it does indeed make it hard to decide. I'm staying with 12.11P for now, because I doubt the 12.11 beta series will ever be updated with the DX 9 fixes.
-
I think its great to see AMD working round the clock fixing one issue after another, they really assembled a good team to work exclusively at the drviers, or at least looks like.
for the time being i will stick to 12.11p (wich works like a charm) and wait for the official release, hoping it includes all the fixes in one package. -
this is the very new latest driver

Hopefully they can bring these two divergent driver streams together and come up with a single rounded package.
-
id support that

Which one do you think we -HM owners- should use? Has anyone made a comparison test?
-
Meaker@Sager Company Representative
Since they lack enduro, not the enduro ones.
-
Are linux users able to enjoy these latest drivers?
-

I doubt it since I think they are completely separate packages since there will be few similarities in how they work.

Yes since they are designed for dedicared only setups.
-
Do you guys have the Switchable Graphic Menu on beta 8?
-
Meaker, 12.11 performance is designed for dedicated setups? I thought it was a good thing that AMD and Intel drivers are now separated.
-
Still, it is highly unlikely that AMD would keep them separate.

Tip : people you should always submit your problem to amd survey -
I am getting BSOD's with AMD 12.8 (nov16) when I try to OC with Afterburner 2.2.0.
Also Furmark doesn't seem to detect the GPU load or temperature, just like Afterburner, but the performance is 7970 grade and not HD4000 so it's switching.
I was running stock AMD 12.6 on my BTO P170EM and uninstalled them the normal way.
I didn't run in safe mode, I didn't check for remnants of CCC either.
I first installed the latest Intel drivers for the HD4000, rebooted, then the AMD 12.8 drivers from November 16. (so NOT the Enduro performance driver).
Before (on 12.6), I could simply OC with Afterburner 2.2.0, but now (on 12.8) when I select an OC profile it goes to BSOD as soon as I click 'Apply'. And as I said, no temp or load detection anymore.
I am clueless. Games work. It's all stable. But when I try to OC... BSOD...
I did use the 12.8 drivers with .NET4, but that shouldn't make a difference I think.
Anny help would be greatly appreciated.
