Nice! Thanks.

nice, performance improvements for several games and addition of 8000m support. probably worth it to upgrade then

I've been runniing this driver form more than a week now, and its ok. Stable, everything works fine but in real world usage I didint spot any diffrence in performance compared to 13.1 . Plus I hoped that those damn black boxes in far cry 3 would dissappear but no luck

They're never going to fix those boxes. Ahhhh the s*hitness that is AMD mobile support. -
Is there still an issue with DX9 games and the latest Intel drivers + these drivers?
Feels like I have a handicapped computer sometimes =/ -
certainly still there amd never fixed anything
-
damn, the next time i get a new laptop (probably 3 years from now) it's definitely nvidia over amd, unless amd suddenly becomes superior to nvidia. but hey, amd was much cheaper and you get what you pay for.
-
I'm hoping its going to be possible to switch from amds 7970m to nvidias 780m soon.
-
It deffinitelly will be, but the price tag will be ridiculous. I'm more hoping for price drops of 680m when 780m will come out..
-
So I installed this beta3 with the last intel driver... and wow. My utilization and performance issues are pretty much fixed. No clue why.
Only problem I have is black flashing on Planetside 2, which renders it completely unplayable. But besides that... everything is perfect. Awesome

AMD 7970m -
you mean 3071 driver? are you sure?
-
To add to that, which games are you referring to specifically that have been fixed ?
-
I did a completely clean removal of both AMD and Intel drivers before I installed them.
I then installed the 3071 drivers, reboot, installed 13.5 beta3, reboot.
Specifically, these games have been fixed for me:
Battlefield 3 (jumped from 30 fps on ultra to 45-50)
Skyrim (jumped from 40 to steady 60 with mods)
Lord of the Rings Online (50 fps to steady 60 with v-sync)
Jade Dynasty (although I think the intel drivers made it run better, not sure if my 7970m is even being used.)
I can't say about the big PC titles like Dishonored, Far Cry 3, etc. I use my xbox for those games.
Only problem is Planetside 2. Haven't quite figured out the flashing problems.
EDIT: AND THIS JUST IN. Crashed, now experiencing black flashing problem with every game. Will keep you guys updated. -
Im just hoping someone in here might be able to help me, ive posted this on multiple other parts of this forum but nobody has had an answer and its getting very frustrating
I just did a fresh install of windows 7 on my P180 from Mythlogic.
Of course i downloaded and installed the latest video driver from amd which is CCC 13.4, i am using dual 6990m
This software is not giving me an option to enable crossfire anywhere in it. Both cards are recognized in device manager under Display Adapters.
Also in my toolbox if i right click on the CCC icon it shows me 4 display adapter setting options (this always was true for when crossfire is disabled, whenever i had it enabled it shrinks down to 2, im not sure why).
Also if i go into CCC Start>Information>Product Summary>Hardware it shows me two cards. Primary Adapter, and then below that, Disabled Adapter. I have no clue what is going on here how do i fix it so i can get my crossfire back? -
Odd. Those black boxes are gone for me since 13.1. I can even run the in dx11.
-
Ouch. Seems like the driver still has some promise though, although I'll wait for the official release to see if that problem gets patched.
That is, assuming it's not on your end. We'll see. -
Which Intel HD driver do you have installed? I had similiar a problem, then I reverted back to Intel HD driver from december and everything worked fine for me again (with 13.4 not 13.5 beta 3).
