    API to change the fan speed?

    So on my Clevo(P870DM), the fan is not connected to the GPU. Any way to control it? NVML reports that the GPU has no fan.

    Its controlled by the EC. The only way to change fan speed is through Clevo Control Center - in which the Custom profile seems broken... so you have the choice between

    Automatic which ramps up speed so slow I used to get temp related black screens in heavy games (e.g. Metro LL in 4K) before it'd reach full speed
    Maximum which puts all fans in jet engine mode (and reverts back to Auto when toggled off via Fn+1)
    Overclock which aggressively ramps up fans under load (rather than temps) - which is what I use. Right now it's sitting on 71W draw from the wall and it's basically silent.
