So a friend just got his HD4890 and holy crap this thing has some nice drivers!
Ive been running nV green team since my last ATI card, which was an X1900XT if you remember how long ago that was! But wow I forgot how dang good ATI's forced AA looked. Hopefully when the mobile 5870 comes out we can get some red in these Clevos! I sure am getting tired of not having the option, sure I'm a middle grounds guy on both, im not a fanboi, but ATI has always been that team like the Bengals or something. I love em, but man sometimes they just need some TLC. But I'm still surprised to not see any mobile 4870 options in Clevos, nV must really have sweet talked Sager. Also their rebrand thing regardless of how shoddy it is, has given them a huge edge on ATI time wise.

Clevo notebooks have MXM 3.0B slots... if ATI releases card in that format... then its possible.

also, the BIOS might have to be updated to fully recognize newer card when they become available

If the ATi 5800 series becomes available by Jan. and is MXM 3.0b compatible, I'll be getting it for sure.
