Dear members, hope you are doing well,
I sold my Clevo DM3 (8086k/GTX1080) with a AUO 4K B173ZAN01.0 screen, the buyer is not happy with the colors and he said it's different than what he was use to with the 3k version when he is designing and rendering, I'll really appreciate if someone has a color profile or some settings can fix this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like they are trying to blame hardware for a subjective complaint... Was the panel they were accustomed to actually colour calibrated? The gamut, out of box accuracy and view angles of the 4k panel are so far superior to the 1440p QTN it's just not funny.
Anyway have them try this

Or they can fiddle with the settings in Nvidia control panel to set it to whatever they prefer or replicate the skew of the panel they are used to -
Thamk you for your kind reply, I'll try it hope it will fix the problem .

Don't know if its helpful or not, Mobius 1 has posted icc file of AW17 of the same panel. http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...file-display-calibration-aw17-4k-igzo.793751/
It all depends on ambient lighting and calibration hardware slightly applies light/color compensation so that difference is almost NIL.Dr. AMK likes this. -

We also have made a profile of this panel in 2016 - check the attachment of this post.
