    If this screen isn't the bane of my existence, I don't know what is.

    I'm seeing everything from Ebay listings saying "EXACT MODEL" only to have a picture of an LG. To $400+ listings of an ACTUAL AUO B156HW01 v4. Sigh...

    I know AUO discontinued this screen back in 2011 so it's getting quite rare... has anyone seen one in the wild lately for a reasonable price and can point me in the right direction? Thanks.

    The v7 is of equal quality (essentially the glossy version of the v4)

    Well that's exactly what the v7 is, the v4 without the matte coating layer.
