    Hello,

I'm just about to order the Sager 5791 from either powernotebook or xoticpc in about an hour. I was wondering about what the best setup for this model pc would be keeping it around 2000 dollars. I just wanted your opinions on what would work together well.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

Would super glossy be better than the Matte screen?

Personally I would go for Glossy.
But glossy screen sucked at sunlight. However, all LCDs will not work well under sunlight anyway. So, it's really just up to you.

Glossy = Mirror like black screen, shining, and flat, prone to scratch.
Recommend the use of microfiber cloth to clean it.

Thanks for the heads up. I see a lot of people suggesting glossy.

    Thanks for all the help.

glossy vs matte depends imo a lot on your lighting conditions. if you will be using it mostly outdoors or in a office with lighting directly over you i would go for matte. no reflections. otherwise id buy glossy...

What do you plan to do with the notebook? For gaming and multimedia I would go with this configuration:
    -17" WUXGA
    -2GB RAM
    -7200RPM hard drive
    -Go7950GTX
    -XP Pro
    -Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz

I opted for the other video card because I wanted to save the 100 bucks. I however upgraded to the 2.4ghz for 85 more bucks on xotic pc. Overall, I think I'll be happy about this purchase.
