Hey everybody, this is my first post on the NBR so hello to all.

I just got loads of graduation money and am about to buy the sager np8662 for college. I will be playing a lot of games, and watching a lot of movies.

I was just wondering if xoticPC.com was the best place to purchase the computer? It seems to be the cheapest place to get the components I want.

I am going to get the p9600, 4gb of ram, and the 320gb 7,200rpm HD.
that comes out to a little under 1600, without any shipping that is.

I was also wondering about how long it would take to get the laptop, and if I should just install windows 7 RC1 right off the bat?

Yes, definitely get it. It's the fastest 15.4" gaming laptop there is. If you order it this week it should come by the end of the month.
Also XoticPC is a great place to purchase it as it's cheap and they provide you with a generous 3 year warranty.

The best laptop I've purchased. Also, XoticPC was my first choice, but I really needed to customize my own system- what has been mentioned above seems in line with people's experience-

Same here and xoticpc has great service. I'd say the only but really ONLY reason not to go with xoticpc or any sager reseller is if you want to throw a Q9100 or QX9300 in the NP8662. But then again if you don't care about warranty you can still buy an ES and put it in yourself :p

I've done a lot of researching before I bought it and I know I wont be disappointed. I've compared prices with many different resellers and I found xoticpc to be one of the best with the best price.

It's a great notebook at a great price, and you can't beat XoticPC, pull the trigger and go. You will have to wait a few weeks for delivery though.

Oh yeah the wait was a killer, luckily I was in Spain for 2.5 weeks out of my 4 week waiting period.

Ok, again thanks everyone for making me confident with my notebook purchase.

I just ordered it, and am now very un-patiently waiting....
