Have just ordered my M860TU (in the form of a Novatech X70 Pro - the cheapest config with 9800M available in UK if I'm not mistaken).
I'm just interested because from various reviews and online I've seen a range of weights quoted - from 2.9kg in one review to 3.7kg quoted for the Overclockers Ultima Mobile. Owners of this rig, can anyone tell me the ACTUAL weight of a system. (see my config below):

It's not a light machine but I watched Lord of the Rings with it on my lap doing some web browsing and MSN and I didn't feel uncomfortable from the heat or weight.

This machine weight around 7lbs. should be ok for carry around

It's exactly 3.2kg with the battery and they are indeed very easy to carry around. Not as light as a Mac Book Air but then it's about 10 times more powerful
