Does anyone know if the 220W adapter for the P170HM/NP8170 is compatible with the P150HM/NP8150?

I think I read that somebody on these forums is planning to splice the end of a P150 cable onto the P170 power supply, but that seems a bit above and beyond anything I'd ever be willing to try.

Go ahead and try modify the end.

What's the worst that could happen?

Your laptop might shoot sparks and fill your house with smoke.
You might end up flopping around and convulsing like a freshly caught fish.

Let us know how it goes.

Take some video too please. Also maybe dial the 9-1 and have your finger on the last 1 before you plug it in.
