    Am i set for the next 2 or 3 years in gaming? Price worth it? Can someone give me their expertise and advice, is it a good investment on a sager?

    that's a beast, im not sure about sagernotebook's service (maybe the same but i have no personal experience to share) but in xoticpc they have good customer service.

    I agree. Get the 2820QM, and in all reality just go with the 2720QM because performance isn't much different between the two. And with that extra money get 16GB RAM, which is only a fraction of the cost of that CPU.

    yeah 16 GB would be a bit too much I think. And this coming from someone who uses Unity 3.0, 3DS Max, Photoshop and Visual Studio 2008...all at the same time...and I do this on a 4 GB desktop.

    Of course, for the enthusiast...you have to have the best money can buy. :D

    8GB is more than adequate. Just pocket the money or instead buy dual Samsung 470 256GB SSD's and run them in RAID ($500 per drive). Unless you need the storage of the 120GB SSD + 750GB HDD.

    Depending on what you are doing you might benefit from extra RAM, specially if you do heavy multi-tasking. You can always add extra RAM later on if you need it. I have 14GB of Ram and my system can get bogged down at times when I have 10+browsers open, rendering video plus 2-3 other apps running.
