I'am considering buying a Clevo P180/Sager NP8170. Does anybody know if you can install an aftermarket backlit keyboard in this model?

There is no power port on the motherboards to support a backlit keyboard. The refreshed models will have a backlit keyboard so if you must have one, wait for those. No ETA on them yet though.

The P180HM won't have a refresh according to Clevos 2012 roadmap.
