Alienware AMD 6990m on Clevo P150HM

Hello,
I just bought a AMD 6990m card for my P150HM upgrade from eBay. The problem is when i turn on the laptop, it runs fine for 10 second, it try to boot to windows but after 10 sec the fan runs in full speed and the laptop shut down itself

I am guessing the Alinenware 6990m vbios can not control the Fan on Clevo P150HM motherboard.

I also tried with Alienware 6970m card and same problem. I tried to flash clevo 6970m vbios on Alienware 6970m card. but it ended up dead and no screen. So i do not want to flash clevo 6990m vbios on this new Alienware 6990m card.

If anyone can help me with the problem then i will be really grateful. Also anyone interested to Swap my Alienware 6990M with clevo 6990m card please let me know. The card is brand new with no sign of use. Will consider 6970m too for mutual agreement.

ouch, not good. u shouldve asked beforehand here in the forum, cuz its actually known that alienware gpus dont work on the HM series the laptop's embedded controller (EC) apparently cannot correctly read out the gpu temp. and thus forces the machine to do a thermal shutdown in order to prevent any damage to components...

Thanks a lot for letting me know. I guess ill just sell it on ebay and buy a clevo gpu. By the way great work on blind flashing 7970m. it saved me from returning my 7970m to upgrademonkey.
