    Alienware GPU in a Sager?

    I have a sager np5793 and the 8800m gtx died. I've found a used replacement but it comes out of an alienware m17x. Will the same nvidia card but out of an alienware work in my sager?

    it should if its a standard MXM-III/IV module.

    It all depends on if it is the same MXM... 2.1 in this case... which I believe is what is in both the Sager 5793 and the m17x... so you should be safe, however I would make absolutely sure first
