    Oh so close.....

This is using the 169.04 driver

    OverClock Settings

    776
    1798
    1000

The temp for the GPU's didn't go above 70
It only really spiked to 68-69 for a little while...

If I up anything else... I start getting errors...
Looks like the best I can do...

    Here's the machine details

    q6700 cpu
    2 x 8700 512MB SLI
    4GB 800mhz Memory
    3 x 160 GB 7200RPM SATA 300 Drives in Raid 0
    Windows Vista 64bit SP1 RC

Has anybody though about doing a water cooled system that cools the air under the lattop?

I was thinking of building something...

You figure that it sucks in air.. .Why not cooler air.. This should drop temps like crazy...

Kind of like the Ram Air effect of a car...

As an FYI, this is with the Release Candidate SP1 of Vista x64....

Not sure if that made the difference because I didn't originally test the overclock settings before I installed SP1.

Thats a great score. I haven't tried 3DMark06 in a while. Those Q6700 cpu's definitely help with the CPU portion of the test. I want to see the SLI 8800GTX's in action. I'm guessing they will hit around 18-20k. Great job man!

Try raising the shaders to 1850, even if you have to lower the core by 5-10mhz...

Looks like I hit the 11k mark.....

    Checkout the details...

thanks Samot lowering the core 6 and raising the shaders 50 got me over the 11k mark.... I didn't even shutdown any services....

    Not too bad....

For future reference man, don't double post. You already had a thread here and you made a new post about a post you already had. I know your excited and happy but don't do it. It's not allowed. Just FYI.
