Can anyone think of a work around to activate the max fan speed enabled by the prema bios? Currently I have to press "FN+9", but it only activates when using the laptop keyboard.

When I game at home, I usually place my laptop on the media shelf under my TV and hook it up via HDMI. There are certain demanding games that I overclock for and I always activate the max fan profile. The problem is that I can't activate the max fan profile from my wireless keyboard. The FN button on my logitech wireless keyboard is tied to functions for the keyboard itself, like brightness levels. I thought I could make a hot key script that I could double click on to activate "FN+9", but there appears to be no way to add the FN button to the script.

Sure, not a huge deal, but it's annoying to have to get up and go pull out the laptop every time I want to enable or disable the max fan profile. Anyone have any ideas?

If you have Clevo Control Center installed, you can launch that and select the maximum fan profile on the System Program Tab. A couple more clicks but at least you won't have to reach to the PC.

Are you trying to do the script within the logitech software, or a different program? You could try using another program to make a script to run Fn + F9, but tie it to another set of button presses. Just a random example, make a script so if Ctrl Shift Alt f2 (or whatever you want to make it) are pressed, then the script would "press" Fn + F9. Then set your logitech mouse so your button presses Ctrl Shift Alt f2 (or whatever you set up).

I did that with autohotkey to run some various functions, then used my logitech's buttons to trigger each one of those autohotkey scripts.

I'm currently running clevo control center version 6.0100. I know there are newer versions but would they be compatible with my p170em and windows 7? All the newer versions are for windows 8 and 10. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

In reading your post I realize I need to try this again. I think the fn button on the clevo keyboard might be a special key not picked up by keyboardhook, but I need to check again. I'm not proficient in hot key sripts. Am just using the "AutoHotKey" program. I was reading this in the "Special Keys" section in this link: https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/KeyList.htm

I was also trying a program called "Sharp Key" to reassign buttons on my logitech but it doesn't capture when I press the FN button.
