I can understand why Jarred did some remarks, its his article after all so he can speak his mind. I own a clevo P150 not the p170. I love the notebook and dont think is poorly made or nothing like it.
I do have two complaints about it:
    1) The razor-sharp edge of the hands resting area, its cutting my wrists when i am using the mousepad.
    2) The BIOS, its a real piece of porks shieeeet..... Related to this being unable to turn off the CPU or GPU vents is a real minus... The sound can get annoying.

but besides that i love it, its look is sharp and sneaky, just the way i wanted it.

    cheers

Yeah the edge doesn't bother me at all. And I think I'm pretty average in terms of how much pressure I put on my wrists.

I do not consider myself a huge supporter of Clevo, but having read close to a dozen of Jarred's reviews of their machines, it's clear that he's antagonistic to the company's products from the word go.

He even sub-headed an M17X review: an antidote to Clevo. Really?

He's a child prima-donna. He's more concerned about how people will view/perceive him with his notebook. He's probably one of the people we all make fun of, toting their MacBooks to coffee shops to fit in with the hipsters.
