Did anyone from Canada bought from XoticPC?
I notice they dont have the taxes added in the final total
I wonder how do i suppost to pay the taxes?
i ask them over at XoticPC, they said i have to deal with the postal service myself, which i have no idea what they are talking about.

sorry if this is a stupid question, cause i onlt bought from site that includes taxes in the final total before.

    thx in advance.
PS. anyone know are welcome to help, even you are not Canadian ;)

heh. good joke nirvana. You'll probably have to pay the taxes to the postal service that sends the notebook or something like that.

by the time i configured a 5793 their price was even lower than xotic pc. except people would need to buy RAMs from somewhere else.

The EC price for the m57ru is reasonable.

Anyway, back on topic - You will have to pay the tax to the postal service that delivers your laptop as auburncoast said

I don't know what you guys are talking about but EuroCom is super expensive. They are about $500 more expensive for basically the same build as from Xotic.

Less than a yeaqr ago when I ordered .. Eurocom was about 20% more expensive than XoticPC in the end; they may have adjusted pricing, but XoticPC had a great rep (and well earned in my view) and just blew EC away.

(At the time I barely looked into Eurocom since the name _Euro_ made me assume it was a European company .. ie: For the UK say :p) When I found out they were halfway local (few hours drive away) I was shocked to find the pricing so bad at the time.

The Eurocom boys do sound like good chaps who do good work, though.

I live in ontario not far from the New York so I just had my 9262 shipped within the US from xoticpc. I was prepared to pay taxes at the border but after opening the box i found there was no way to prove that i had purchased the notebook in the US. I was able to bring it over the border for free. If you can do that you will save up to $400.
