Has anyone used one of these? Specifically with a p750zm? I've heard it's hard on the battery of the laptop and car. Thanks!

No personal experience with it here, but the prevailing wisdom is to avoid the generics due to cheap quality and potential risk for damage.

Moved to the main Sager forum.

As advised, you really want to avoid generic equipment and stick with OEM. Belkin products are exceptionally bad, I would never trust my expensive machine to Belkin products...

Mathematically, this item just doesn't add-up:
It shows a cigarette lighter plug, but 12v lighter plug on a 15 Amp fuse can only supply 180w. If your car had a 20 amp fuse for that circuit, it would only supply 240 watts. To get 300 watts it would need to be wired-in to vehicle battery with better wires and a high capacity fuse.

Exactly, don't try and get high power from your car unless you have done some special work, they are not designed to really deliver that and you are just asking for trouble.
