    On the D900f?

I understand that the heat signature won't tolerate both an i7 processor (pretty warm) and an SLI setup in that style laptop. Could be wrong - but I heard that somewhere.

The closest to it is the Alienware M17x - has SLI GTX280Ms but is running Core2Duo processors.

I was wondering this myself, I am buying a Sager soon, but was wondering about the upcoming SLi options on the Sagers. Is 280M Sli and an i7 processor asking to much? Would it be a puddle of melted plastic, smoldering metal and components?

What does everyone think is better the current with the i7 processor or SLi 280M and whatever dual core options they will offer? I have time, I will be waiting for the upgrade to Windows 7 options anyway.

Won't happen...this has already been discussed to death by too many people. Yea it sucks that there won't be an i7 SLI notebook, but that conversation's at least a month old.

The m98nu will also support quad core, up to the qx9300 I believe. The SLI computer will definitely outperform the i7 in 99% of games, as most are gpu dependent.

Which just makes it the most eligible conversation topic around! The deader a topic, the more conversation you can have about it (probably because you can't be proven wrong or right, so there's nothing to be lost by sticking to your subjectively favored opinion, no matter how outlandish :D).

Well in that case I'd like a notebook with an i7 and 295 gtx gpus in SLI with 16 gbs of ram and 2x TB HDD at 10,000 rpms.

Is that all? :D Pffft. I want dual 64-core processors, in a notebook with triple SLi and 1TB of RAM!
