Hey guys I was wondering if Clevo or Sager is going to release another laptop anytime soon? Is this the time when these companies usually announce new products? I'm in battle with Alienware, and if I win I will be buying either Clevo or Sager.

(^) Sweet.
Are those the only two that will be released or are there any more? Any 15"? Well hopefully.
I doubt this is going to happen but it would be really sweet if these laptop were released with USB 3.0 According to the reports on the net, we'll likely see USB 3.0 near the end of 2009 or early 2010.
A man can dream though
a man can dream.

if you have been watching tech news (like Engadget), you would know that the CeBIT will debut the following:

no new 15.4"... the current Clevo M860TU is already up-to-date... and now getting quad-core support. -
D90xF is going to have a hardware RAID controller like the 901c/k did?
-
the last Clevo D900's to have hardware RAID was the D900T and D900K.
its not fully know yet if the upcoming D900F has hardware RAID or not.
I do not think its that important since the difference is not that much between hardware and software RAID... unless if its for those that love to stripe drives.
I have tested RAID-1 (mirror) in both hardware and software RAID environments... pretty much the same performance. -

if the vendor shows options for quad-cores, then that is the latest revision.
There are only 3 mobile quad-core CPUs, which are supported:
- Q9000
- Q9100
- QX9300 -
What about the new 100M series? Or the 4000 series?
I'm thinking Clevo might update their M860TU/NP5796s to support 170m GTXs and such. -
-
I was talking RAID-0.

Are there any lappy with desktop i7 but single GPU out anytime soon?
-
Not yet. Lets wait a few days maybe something will shown at CEBIT.
