    Any new development on Nvidia 700M series in the EM clevos?

    I was just wondering if there were any new developments in getting the 700M series to work in the EM clevo laptops.

    That's awesome! I wonder if there is any chance prema can get the 770M working in an EM system. There are some really great deals on ebay right now. If Prema or anyone with further knowledge about this happens to see this post please feel free to chime in :)

    Probably only slightly warmer than the 680m.

    I think the GPU will seem much warmer due to the new turbo boost though.

    i will wait for 20nm (or 14nm?). 780m takes too much power.

    100W is always going to be the operating point of these GPUs regardless of gen.

    Yeah I'd think if anything, the power usage would go up as PCI slots can deliver more and more power.

    Problem with that is that cooling and power delivery is a very physical problem, you can design a small slot to deliver 300W, does not mean you can deliver that power or remove it from the system.
