This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Any other fingerprint software besides UPEK?

    For NP5791 - Is there any way to use any other fingerprint software, or do they make any generic fingerprint software? I hate UPEK.

    Also, does anyone know how to get rid of (and stay rid of) the fingerprint message AND the ctrl+alt+delete password business when you start XP Pro (Corp?)?
