Any physical retailers of Sagers (S. California)?

I'm looking to buy a sager 8662 (or clevo comparable) but would like to see it in person if possible. Also would love to buy it today since both my comps sh*t the bed this week and I'm in desperate need of a computer.

Anyone have any ideas? I know Sager is based in City of Industry, but as far as i know they do not retail their units. I see micropc.net does too, but they are not really a retailer either. Im wondering if a Fry's or Microcenter or CompUSA or any local place might have them. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

For sure Fry's and CompUSA don't have them. I don't know about Microcenter though. Rjtech is located just north of Anaheim but I'm not sure if they only take orders and have Sager shipped them out themselves. You can try calling them to find out. Www.Rjtech.com.

Good luck finding one to eyeball (I'm not trying to be sarcastic); however, as others have pointed out, it may be tough finding a brick-n-mortar retailer who carries them.

That being said, when you go to buy one, unless you absolutely, positively have to have it that afternoon, order it online from a reseller who is not located in California (e.g., don't buy direct from Sager); by doing that, you should manage to avoid being charged California sales tax on the purchase. Considering the cost of a new computer, that could save you enough moolah to allow you to pay for faster shipping, too.
