Any plans for Ryzen 4000 CPU to be used in light laptops like the Clevo/Sager N141?

I think they are super interesting compared to intel, I would buy it day one if it existed.
I'm checking other manufacturers but they only have soldered dimm or very poor cooling in those models, an ultrabook made by Sager/Clevo using thoses CPU would be top tier. Any chance it happens soon? Thanks.

It seems like Clevonisnin a good place to get ahead of the crowd on Ryzen 4000 high end. All the big polished companies put them in budget level computers with poor specs. A 4900 with top tier graphics chip, good cooling, a quality display, and good ports should sell like hotcakes right now with demand so high for this chip.

Asus is making a mint selling low end laptops with high end CPU. A platform worthy of the CPU hasn't been made yet.

As the mobile market matures for AMD I would expect more options to appear. They are VERY new to this game at the higher end.

Will the refreshed systems have a traditional ZIFF socket where we can change out the CPU or are they going to be mostly soldered onto the motherboards for the AMD Ryzen chips? That is, if you can answer that question without getting into trouble. :)

Most systems are going to be mobile APU based (in the market as a whole) due to power reasons. It makes sense for most machines.

Slim profile lappie that bearing Clevo/Sager badge? No.

However, a slim profile that could compete with MacBook Air, is made by TongFang and now sold in different markets with different badges.

Notice how narrow the bezels around the screen is compare to N141? Yeah... with that slimming, ODM makers can cram a bigger screen into the old "small" built.[/center]
