I sent them a list of like 9 questions (I like to go through things thoroughly and ask things in detail) through their contact form, since I looked at their prices in £ in their UK store and they are quite cheaper than the prices in € in European stores, after converting the currency. The questions in my inquiry were numbered. I usually number my questions in a list so it makes it more likely for the other party to keep that format and answer the questions one by one. If I don't do this, they usually answer "some" of the questions, in a half-assed way.
So I do get an email reply within a few hours, but indeed it's the aforementioned half-assed reply. Answered only some of the questions, and some of the answers were kind of unclear. For example, on their computer configuration page they had an old model of wifi module (let's say model X), and one of the questions was if a newer model (let's say model Y) was available instead. So one reply said "yes in fact that is model Y". I'm like, what does it mean, is the configuration page incorrectly listing older model X, when it is indeed model Y that you get with your computer? Or what? Another answer about another thing was like "we'll check and let you know about this", two weeks later still nothing.
I also found an actual email address (since at first I only used the contact form) and emaied them there last week, no reply.
I'm just wondering if they're slower than other companies when it comes to replying, or if this is just indication of bad customer service? I mean if this is how much they care to tend an inquiring customer pre-sale, I can only image their reliability post-sale.
Anyone has had any good or bad experience with them?

Don't do it. They just stick the bits together and ship, it will be a thermal nightmare.

XMG it is then. A bit expensive but they do seem like real professionals and they really seem to care for customers and potential ones. A pity though because Scan's prices in £ are quite low compared to the €.
