Obviously they're pretty brand new but I'm thinking of buying one of the new NP7XXX/NP8XXX series and I'm wondering if anyone's gotten theirs yet or seen any reviews?

    Thanks!

The NP8XXX series are pretty much the same as models they replaced. The CPU, GPU, and amplified headphone out are the main differences. The models numbers had the last digit changed from a 5 to an 8, for example the NP8268 was the NP8265 so you could search for reviews of those models. Then look up the new CPU/GPU separately.
We do hope to get a couple video reviews done on these new ones.

I'm really interested to see what people think about the computers themselves. I can't even find any reviews on the barebone Clevos.

They did start shipping from Sager about a week ago, but who knows how many of those went to people who come to NBR. Hopefully we'll be hearing from some people soon :)

Looking forward to hearing from some people as well. Hopefully we can get some more reviews pretty soon about the 880m. As long as other people dont experience it running too hot and not have any driver problems I am going to pull the trigger and order one myself. I don't have the option of waiting for a maxwell release.

Some of the new 8xxM cards are demonstrating a marginal improvement in performance and heat - especially heat. I was quite surprised to see the 860M run at around 67 C on Unigine: Heaven for hours.

I'm playing with the Clevo P153SM-AS that I picked up from Pro-Star and so far I'm pretty happy with it. I ran the free Unigine benchmark out of the box and scored in the 4000's without touching a thing. But then I did a clean reload and didn't reinstall the benchmark software so I can't give an accurate number. I only remember Higher than the Gaming Laptops, but Lower than the Desktops.

Late Edit: It's Crazy Fast! Throwing everything I can think of tasks-wise at once...and I haven't seen the CPU load come up over 18%
