Will there be any shows/presentations of Sager notebooks anytime in NYC? I've read through many reviews/forums. Yet I can't decide whether or not I should buy a Sager notebook. I can't buy it without seeing it first. It seems that you can only buy Sager notebooks online (Sager, XoticPC, Powernotebooks etc.) Any information?

How can you buy a notebook without even seeing it? It doesn't make sense.

The Clevo/Sagers aren't primarily about looks, and the reviews here are good enough and analogize to systems we know or can touch, that an in-person interview generally isn't necessary; besides, most resellers have a 30-day money-back return policy, so if you just don't like it, you're only out the shipping costs (which are a darn sight cheaper than airfare to the tech shows and back :D ).

30-day money back return policy? Once I buy a notebook, I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. I need to see the notebook in person and check on things like the keyboard, touchpad, screen quality etc. especially since I'm going to be using my notebook a lot.
Reviews/forums aren't always clear, and seem very subjective. Example: The screen may be absolutely "gorgeous" for some people, but it may be as good when I see it in person.

I have read through many reviews/forums. The Sager NP5793 seems like an amazing notebook. I just want to see myself and get a sense of what I am buying. This is the reason I created this thread in the first place. I just wanted to know whether or not there will be any presentations/shows like Cebit so that I can take a look on this notebook. Or the Clevo M860TU, which is coming out in the summer.

Do you happen to now any retailer stores that sell Sager notebooks in NYC? If not, I'll just have to decide. My other choices were the HP 8710w or the Sony FZ4000.
