    Hi

I bought my Clevo P151HM1 some two months ago and I love it.
There is just one annoying thing, fans always start and shut down while notebook is on and doing nothing heavy, specially GPU fan.

Any suggestions for a program that can lower the speed of gpu and cpu so that they won't get hot to the point that fan starts? My cpu is corei7 2760 and gpu gtx560m.
I don't need that much of speed while i browse web for example. So it would be great if I could turn the heat down while not doing heavy stuff.

    thanks

When you run the machine on battery or power saver plans, it will already do some pretty significant downclocks on the GPU and CPU. That alone won't make a huge impact on fan speeds. The only real option would be to undervolt your GPU and CPU, but that can also damage them if done incorrectly or void your warranty.

    Hello Yushi,
You could try throttlestop. Its freeware and I have used it on my second gen i5. It does help in reducing CPU speeds. Also, MSI afterburner is a great tool to control GPU freqs.
