Heyyyy i was gonna order my second clevo as i really like the p150em except doing the math this time i decided to have somewhere make it for me. i found whitebook buying and getting the parts yourself isnt worth it the hard way, probably cuz buying vidcards are abysmally expensive and they sell you processors at cost. Though when stuff goes wrong its a nightmare, so i decided to go to a reseller this time around and slap a parts warranty on.

That said. i was gonna order from another popular reseller but i realized the price i was looking at was after cash discount. I looked at the difference between like every popular seller and well.. the cheapest i found was from ibuypower. They also throw in alot of perks and their ssd prices are pretty nice.

So that said any positive reviews from them? i cant find any on their laptops.. i do however see some nightmare stories about ppl and their desktops. also they dont have more than a 1 year warranty which bugs meh.

My roommate purchased a laptop from them. Not a 150em, some other 15.6" with a 650M.. Anyways, he hasn't had a problem yet. Other than the fact that they put their company lid sticker on crooked. It bothered him so he peeled it off and found out the reason it was crooked was because thy were using it to cover a gash in the lid! Course he didn't contact them about it, just slapped another sticker over it lol

Only advice I can really give is that you get what you pay for. I'd say pay a bit extra and get a laptop from one of the reputable sellers we've got posting here!

thats scary enough. blah! i finally decided on going to somewhere with a parts warranty past 2 years. because well.. heck i know firsthand parts go bad you might get a bad part etc and its a nightmare checking each part finding out the problem and then rma etc.

ibuypowers warranty seems scary. blahrg but their price is so juicy.. everywhere has these cash discounts but well theirs isnt one and its cheaper. i configged a 256gb ssd 3610qm and a 680m4gbs 16gbs ddr3 with some free stuff for 1854. thats amazing.. just well.. im scared of limited warranties..

i know laptops DIE parts DIE. i must be a rma king from diy. u know anywhere else i can get a price like that?
