    I have a 7970M and I'm done with it. It has been over a year, they just can't make it work. It is one problem after another and there's always some new drivers coming Real Soon Now(tm) that will supposedly fix the issues but they take forever, and when they do come either don't fix ti, or introduce new issues.

    So I want out. I want an nVidia card. A GTX675M would be fine, it doesn't need to be as high performance as the 7970M if it actually works.

    Any place I can buy one?

    NBR marketplace, ebay (check upgrademonkey), some of the builders/resellers, like R&J Tech for example. keep in mind that you'll also need a new heat sink going from AMD to nvidia i believe.

    are x-brackets interchangeable on clevo heat sink/heat pipe/cooler/backplate assemblies?

    Some of the people with HM laptops might be willing to do a straight trade since they don't have Enduro issues.
