Anyone recognize the part# of the VGA connector in a N170RD?

    Hello.

Bit of an unorthodox question, but I have a busted up N170RD laptop that I am fixing. One of the things that is broken is the VGA connector, where metal fatigue ripped it off the main board. So I am looking for a replacement that I can solder into place (I am an electronics engineer by trade, so I have the equipment and expertise for this). Sadly I can't seem to find a replacement in the clevo stores, nor can I find the manufacturer part number in the manual with the schematics (It seems the schematics in the manual are for a model that does not have a VGA connector installed).

Anyone that can tell me the manufacturer part # so I can find an alternative supplier? A picture of the relevant connector is included, designator J_CRT1. I reflowed the pins of the current connector, but its not a long term solution, the pins are sheared right off so the only thing holding the connector in place is a weak solder joint. It really needs a replacement and its such a waste to toss out the entire perfectly fine mobo just for one silly connector...

I've been trying the official Clevo support channels but they just brush me off or try to get me to send the entire laptop in for repair.

VGA connectors are surprisingly not very similar, I've not come across it.

Yea that's the problem I am running into. If it was any other connector I could probably figure it out with the part search function in RS components or whatever. But D sub 15 connectors are so incredibly varied that there are literally tens of thousands of variants, all of which have incompatible footprints with one another. Hence why I am hoping someone knows the part number. Or maybe has a picture of this connector where the inkt hasn't worn off (As you can see in the picture I posted earlier, it has some kind of text on it that I suspect is the part number, sadly it has worn away.).

In that case, why not look for a new motherboard for this laptop and ask for a high-resolution picture of it ?

Well a dead one to harvest would be an option but not many floating around of this model.
