Anyone with the NP8753S/NP8753R have trackpad issues?

I recently took delivery on a NP8753R which I'm overall very happy with, the only issue I'm having is the trackpad. Basically the middle/center of the trackpad does not respond properly leaving only the sides usable. I spoke with a tech and he said it's because the fingerprint scanner is in the middle but that seems like really poor design. Anyone else having this issues? I could understand a small portion of the trackpad being affected by the sensor but not the enter middle portion. Gives very little room to use it properly.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. I get that most people will use an external mouse but every now and again I like to use the trackpad.

Edit: Uploaded a video that shows the problem in greater detail. You'll see the trackpad works on the sides but not in the middle

When you say not properly what do you mean?

For example, if I were to run my finger across the track pad (from left to right) it will skip/jump whenever I pass through the middle. Doesn't matter from what direction or where in the middle. It's like there is a thin sliver of the track pad (in the middle) that is not responsive (possibly due to finger print scanner, I'm not sure)

So I cannot use the track pad like I normally would, I have to avoid the middle by either using the left side or right side of trackpad.

I've honestly not used the trackpads with under surface finger print readers. If you just keep to the middle does it work?

No if I keep to middle it will skip around a bunch

Does seem to make it being under the surface a bit pointless, have you taken a video of the abrupt movement and sent it to show how bad it is?

No but I can do that, was mainly curious to see if other people had the same issue or if this was exclusive to my machine. I can take a video when I get home and upload here if you think that would be useful.
