Right now, all I see is marketing fluff. I cannot find it for sale anywhere, nor can I find any timings or other techincal info for their 3000MHz settings for 64GB of RAM.

What's the consensus here? Just a bunch of marketing hooey ( ie. garbage) - http://ap.apacer.com/products/DDR4-NOX-DDR4-SODIMM/overview

Such exciting features listed like a front label. Until a product exists and is for sale then who cares?

As far as I can tell, it was supposed to be released as of Fall '15:

    http://benchmarkreviews.com/31118/apacer-nox-ddr4-64gb-3000mhz-so-dimm-memory-module-released/
    http://www.eteknix.com/apacer-reveals-pricing-3000mhz-nox-ddr4-laptop-memory/

One says Sept. 2015 and the other had pricing in Nov. 2015. However, I cannot find any vendor that sells Apacer Nox. Dunno if this was all some just vapor product announcement BS.

I did some research of this before buying my Corsair 3000MHz memory and what i found is that its not really available in Europe/USA. It is mostly for the Asian region where Apacer is located.

Ahh... OK. That makes a bit more sense. You're problems in the other thread jogged my recollection of this memory type, but I never dug into the specifics until now. Surprised Apacer is a regional outfit.

I'm pretty confident it will work it just needs some manual timing settings it seems.

Saw a lot of hype about it and literally haven't heard anything till today.. Gskill seem to be the brand to be for 3000MHz++ DDR4 laptop RAM!! (Also Corsair but not as popular!)
