Self servicing (repasting/upgrading) voids your warranty?
I ask because in my country it does (apparently). I gave them a call and ask about it and they don't support any user DIYs. I mean f*** the guy doesn't even know what a Clevo is ffs lol
The rebrand im looking at is based on the Clevo P370SM-A

Assuming i say "screw it" and just void the warranty, would a PREMA bios work on this particular rebrand? im asking cuz it will be japanese and it might have different drivers and stuff.
Or should I go for an Dellienware 17 R2 with the AGA and buy a 980ti or Titan X for it? I was originally planning on getting the GT80 Titan SLI, but it's out of stock everywhere. They don't know when cuz it's MSI japans call.

I would never buy a machine from a reseller that voids the warranty for any user replaceable parts being upgraded and especially if repasting the machine is disallowed.

Hopefully, that might be just a mis-informed rep that you are talking to, maybe playing it safe. Possibly because he doesn't want to say to do any upgrades, if he isn't 100% sure. Maybe talk with another rep from that company and see if they have the same answer, or if it is posted in their warranty section.

Yup, I would follow pat's advice.
A repaste shouldn't be necessary if the SI builds the laptop properly. In Europe a seller can't void a warranty if the owner carries out work such as upgrading parts which are readdily accessible and can be bought "off the shelf" in a shop or online. I don't know if this is the same worldwide, but legally they shouldn't be able to do it.
The attitude should be "yes you can upgrade and so on, but the parts that you add aren't covered under the laptop warranty and if you cause any damage whilst upgrading then that is also not covered".
Flashing Prema Mod would likely void the warranty with most System Integrators, but it should only do so if it causes a direct hardware problem with the laptop. Used sensibly there shouldn't be any issues -
Alright, I'll try to drop by their store if my working schedule permits.
Will update again.
Thanks guys! -

Some reps err on the side of caution, but many Clevo resellers don't condemn end-users from basic DIY projects (though we don't assume liability either, nor warrant anything installed not from us).

My reseller would be absolutely horrified (yet maybe slightly proud) at the uhhh, DIY projects I carried out on my Clevo.

While most vendors that frequent this board have no problems with you doing maintenance like you mentioned, other re-branders definitely could void your warranty, its totally up to them. If they told you it will void your warranty, I would believe them. Then the call is up to you if you're willing to void it.
Are Clevos still worth it if..
