    Hi guys quick qeustion before I buy, is a DELL 5870 compatable with my NP8690. Or will I have to flash the BIOS or do any updates.

    5870ms are all 3.0.

    Are you putting it inside your NP8690?

    Yeah the NP8690 should take the Dell 5870.

    6970m/6990m's are a different story, though.
